Richa Roy has joined Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM) as a Partner in the IBC and Policy Practice. She will be based out of Mumbai.
She has over 12 years of experience in Banking and Finance, Debt Restructuring and Bankruptcy, Public Policy, Microfinance, and Social Enterprises, Private Equity, Funds. She has served on and contributed to multiple financial sector reform committees of the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Corporate Affairs and RBI.
Under the aegis of the Bankruptcy Law Reform Committee, she was instrumental in drafting the corporate insolvency provisions of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 and the CIRP Regulations.
She is a 2005 NLSIU Bangalore graduate, a 2017 Oxford (MPP) graduate.

In the past, Richa has worked with ICICI Bank where she was Group Head of the International Banking legal
team. She later moved to AZB & Partners where she worked for over eight years before attending the University of Oxford to get her Master’s degree in Public Policy, following which she worked on a range of public policy projects in trade policy and banking regulation.
