Black Money: Centre files affidavit, reveals three name.The Central government today filed an affidavit in the Supreme Court revealing the names of three Swiss bank account holders’ names. The names are – Pradip Burman of Dabur India Group, Pankaj Chimanlal Lodhiya who is a Rajkot based bullion trader and Radha Timloo who is a Goa based mining baron..The government had earlier filed an affidavit stating that it cannot reveal the details of persons having accounts in foreign countries with which India has Double Taxation Avoidance Agreement..Karnataka Senior Designation Controversy: Dave sends the matter back to CJI.The two petitions pertaining to the controversy surrounding the senior advocate designation conferred on eleven lawyers by the Karnataka High Court has been remanded to the Chief Justice’s court. When the matter came up before a Bench headed by Justice Anil R Dave today, the matter was sent to the Chief Justice’s Bench since it was earlier heard by the Chief Justice’s Bench which had issued notice in the case..The two petitions have been filed by two lawyers – TN Raghupathy and M Veerabhadraiah.
