Renuka Swamy murder: Actor Darshan Thoogudeepa, girlfriend Pavithra Gowda, 11 others sent to police custody

It is alleged that Renuka Swamy died from injuries sustained in an attack carried out on Darshan Thoogudeepa's instructions after Swamy made derogatory comments against his girlfriend, Pavithra Gowda on social media.

A Bengaluru trial court on Tuesday remanded Kannada film actor Darshan Thoogudeepa, his girlfriend Pavithra Gowda and eleven others accused of being involved in the Renuka Swamy murder case, to six days of police custody.
