Paris Olympics 2024: CAS rejects Vinesh Phogat appeal for silver medal

On August 9, CAS had registered Phogat's application and referred the case to arbitrator Dr Annabelle Bennett, a former judge of the Federal Court of Australia.

The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in Paris has rejected the application submitted by Indian wrestler Vinesh Phogat for award of a silver medal in the 50 kilogram women's wrestling competition at the Paris Olympics 2024.
