Bar Council of Delhi..As far as the results of the Bar Council of Delhi elections is concerned, the Court has made it clear that the objections raised against the same ought to be heard expeditiously, and results are to be declared thereafter..The Court, while disposing of an IA in this case, said that the same order as was passed in case of Delhi would be applicable for all the other State Bar Council Elections as well..When the matter was heard in March this year, the Supreme Court had directed the implementation of a Bar Council of India (BCI) resolution proposing certain cautionary rules to ensure the clean conduct of this year’s controversy-stricken State Bar Council elections.
