As per his linkedin profile, Banerjee completed an LL.M. from the University of Leicester in 2000, following which he started practicing in the Calcutta High Court. For the last eight years, Banerjee has been practicing in the Supreme Court..The appointment comes after a number of NLSIU graduates have been made senior advocates, and just weeks after three NLSIU graduates were made District judges in Karnataka.
