It sought an injunction on the release of the film on account of unpaid dues of ₹64,59,577.MIPL claimed that ₹1,07,21,930 was pending to be paid though it was assured that the amounts would be cleared prior to the release. It filed a suit claiming unpaid dues of ₹64,59,577 along with interest at the rate of 21 percent.Till the payment is not cleared, MIPL sought interim reliefs under Order 38 Rule 5 (attachment of property before disposal of suit) of the Code of Civil Procedure and an injunction against the release of film..After brief arguments, civil judge AZ Khan refused to grant an injunction against the release of the film.
