Mother of Bal Sant Baba moves Court claiming "anti-Hindu YouTubers" targeting him

The family of a popular 10-year-old child, who claims to be a spiritual orator and is known as "Bal Sant Baba", has moved a Mathura court for registration of a criminal case against at least seven YouTubers for allegedly trolling the minor. .The criminal complaint filed by the child's mother, has named the seven YouTubers by name as proposed accused and alleged that they uploaded a video "maliciously designed" to mock and defame his religious beliefs. The complaint has also accused them of violating his privacy. The conduct of the accused persons has forced the "present complainant to the stage of absolute collapse and family suicide", it claims"The actions of the accused persons have caused immense emotional suffering for the complainant's minor child, especially considering that the complainant's minor child is only 10 years old. He is unable to freely practice his religion or live his daily life without the fear of being harassed or insulted physically or online," the complaint states..Many videos of the child have been viral on the internet over several weeks with people questioning his authenticity and spiritual credibility. Some have also expressed concern that he may be acting under influence of his parents for fame and other benefits. Recently, the minor became the focus of controversy after a video showing him dancing enthusiastically before a religious leader became viral. His behaviour also apparently upset the Hindu spiritual leader Swami Rambhadracharya, who publicly scolded him. .The complaint before the magisterial court alleges that YouTubers are generating money by such content targeting the child. It goes on to claim that the YouTubers are anti-Hindu."It is alleged that the accused is an anti-Hindu element, and the content of the videos was crafted to promote hate against the practices and beliefs of the Hindu religion, thereby polluting the minds of its followers."The actions of the accused are not only defamatory but also amount to a calculated attempt to disrupt religious harmony and incite hatred, it adds.The complaint has sought a direction for registration of a First Information Report (FIR) for offences like criminal conspiracy, outraging of religious feelings, cheating, criminal defamation, criminal intimidation and extortion..It also states that the complainant had earlier approached the Police but they failed to take the appropriate legal action against the accused.
