Mergermarket H1 2016: Cyril Amarchand top in deal value; AZB with most deals

Mergermarket’s M&A league tables for the first half of 2016 have been released. As was the case in the first quarter of this year, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas has topped the tables in terms of deal value. AZB & Partners overtakes Khaitan & Co to top the deal count table..By Deal Value.Cyril Amarchand’s 17 deals at $6.2 billion is followed by AZB & Partners, which has jumped up one spot from last quarter, with 25 deals valued at $4.4 billion. Vaish Associates is in third, unchanged from the first quarter of 2016, with 2 deals at $2.4 billion..Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas and Khaitan & Co follow with 16 deals at $1.9 billion and 24 deals at $1.8 billion respectively..The other Indian law firms are J.
