The Manipur High Court has started hearing cases via hybrid mode with effect from June 6. .The hybrid functioning model of the court is a combination of both virtual and physical hearings and enables litigants and lawyers to appear before courts via online mode through video conference or physically by being present in the court room. Video conference facilities and e-filing services will be made available at E-Sewa Kendras and District Collectors' offices. These establishments will provide essential infrastructure and support required to facilitate smooth video conference and seamless e-filing of cases.The Computer Committee of the High Court is currently in the process of implementing hybrid functioning in the District Courts of Manipur as well. Dedicated helpline numbers have been established to assist litigants and advocates in e-filing (+91-9089812323) and video conferencing (+91-8014829143). These helplines are designed to address any query related to the e-filing process and video conferencing. They also offer technical support, if required.A standard operating procedure (SOP) for hybrid hearings has also been developed.
