Supreme Court orders Manipal Hospital to pay ₹10 lakh compensation for botched anaesthesia job by trainee doctor
Mere reliance on medical literature would not exonerate the hospital from its duty of ensuring that the Head of the Department ought to have administered the anaesthesia, the Court said.
