A man has been booked by the Police after he attempted to assault Kerala High Court Chief Justice S Manikumar on Sunday night. .As per reports on Asianet News, the incident happened while the Chief Justice was on his way back to the city from the airport. His car was near the Goshree bridge, only around 2 km from the Kerala High Court building, when the attacker is reported to have jumped in front of the Chief Justice's vehicle before hurling abuses at him. The attacker has been identified as one Tijo who hails from Idukki district but resides in the Vypin island. The police has not yet found any motive or any cases pending at the High Court to which the man is a party. However, it is known that he was inebriated at the time, Asianet reported.
