Madras High Court sentences TN Minister K Ponmudi, wife to 3 years in jail, ₹50 lakh fine in corruption case

Ponmudi and his wife were present in the courtroom today when the sentence was pronounced, and had requested the Court to show some leniency, considering their age and since it was an old case.
