Madras High Court seeks ECI response to DMK plea against denial of pre-certification for its poll material

The Madras High Court on Monday directed the Election Commission of India (ECI) to respond to a petition filed by the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) challenging the decision of a committee headed by the Chief Electoral Officer denying pre-certification for some posters, videos, and audio recordings that the party had planned to use for its ongoing campaign ahead of the Lok Sabha polls.
