Madras High Court seeks Centre's response on PIL for climate change assessment before EIA reports

The Madras High Court has asked the Central government to respond to a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) petition seeking directions to all relevant State and Central authorities to study and take into account climate change while preparing Environment Impact Assessment (EIA) reports for large-scale projects.
