Madras High Court seeks Central government response on plea challenging Criminal Procedure (Identification) Act

The Madras High Court Monday directed the Union government to file its response to a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) petition challenging several provisions of the Criminal Procedure (Identification) Act of 2022 [V Adarsh v. Union of India, Ministry of Home Affairs].
