The Madhya Pradesh High Court Bar Association (MPHCBA) has unanimously resolved that the working hours of the High Court should be increased by half an hour everyday..In a meeting held on November 22, the MPHCBA resolved that the court starts hearing cases at 10.15 am everyday instead of 10.30 am and at 2.15 pm instead of 2.30 pm.In this manner, the Court will effectively add 19 additional working days to its annual calendar. The resolution was also communicated to the Chief Justice of the High Court."In the General Body meeting of the MP High Court Bar Association held on Monday November 22, 2021, the issue regarding increasing court working hours was discussed and it has been unanimously resolved that court working hours may be increased by half an hour from 10.15 am in place of 10.30 am and from 2.15 pm in place of 2.30 pm thus increasing annual working of the High Court from 210 to 229 days," the communication said..[Read Letter]
