Lok Sabha passes CGST Amendment Bill; indirect tax lawyers with 10 years' experience can become GSTAT members

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that the amendment was introduced in response to a suggestion from Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud on the administrative side.
