Court hopes and trusts Government will look into plight of Hindu migrants from Pakistan: Delhi High Court

A PIL filed before the High Court highlighted the plight of nearly 200 families who migrated from Pakistan and are living in Delhi's Adarsh Nagar slums for years.

The Delhi High Court recently said that it hopes and trusts that the Central government will look into the plight of Hindu migrants who came to India from Pakistan and have been living in Delhi’s Adarsh Nagar area in slums and jhuggis without electricity connection [Hariom v The State (NCT of Delhi) & Ors].
