The Jharkhand High Court recently expressed its dismay over the poor infrastructure conditions at the National University of Study and Research in Law (NUSRL), Ranchi..While hearing a plea filed by the Bar Association of the Jharkhand High Court, the Bench of Chief Justice Ravi Ranjan and Justice Sujit Narayan Prasad, remarked,.We are sorry to say that till date the National University of Study and Research in Law, Ranchi is not equipped with proper infrastructure. Even the University is not having a good, proper and workable library.Jharkhand High Court.It was noted that the University lacked infrastructure in general, which was also pointed out by the learned counsel for the Law University, Advocate Sudarshan Srivastava..However, the Advocate General, Rajiv Ranjan assured the Court that he would have proper discussions with the authorities and come up with a solution on the next hearing..It was further noted that not only did the University lack good infrastructure, but also teaching and non-teaching faculties. The Court added,.It is made clear that since so many years have been lost, by now we hope and trust that there will be no delay in coming up with a plan so that the University may have a good infrastructure and teaching and non-teaching faculties.
