[BREAKING] Supreme Court grants ad-interim stay on Calcutta HC order reviving Nandigram cases against Mamata Banerjee's Election Agent, SK Supian

The Calcutta High Court had, on March 5, passed an ex-parte order on a public interest litigation filed by BJP member Dipak Mishra reviving criminal cases against Supian in which he was discharged in February 2020.

The Supreme Court on Friday granted ad-interim stay against a Calcutta High Court order which had revived 14-year-old criminal cases against SK Supian who is the Election Agent of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in the upcoming Assembly polls (State of West Bengal v. Dipak Mishra).
