Supreme Court slams Haryana DSP for charging accused under Section 180 IPC for refusing to sign confession

A copy of the judgment was directed to be forwarded to the DGP of the State so that police officers are made aware of the impact that ignorance of legal provisions could have on pending criminal proceedings.
