Chief Justice Ravi Malimath on Saturday inaugurated a Capacity Building Special Training Programme for advocates with zero to five years experience at the Madhya Pradesh High Court Bench at Gwalior..As per a press release, the Chief Justice has directed authorities to ensure that the training programme reaches every corner of the State.The programme was designed in three fragments: Foundation Training Programme for Advocates at the district level; Regional Workshop for Advocates targeting group of districts; and Special Workshop for Advocates, focusing on lawyers practising at the High Court."Till date 10 such programmes are conducted at the behest of the Chief Justice for budding advocates and this one was the 11th programme in the series. 124 advocates participated in the programme, making the overall count of beneficiaries of these programmes over 3,800," the release added..During his speech at the inauguration, Chief Justice Malimath stated,"Standard of the Bench depends on the standard of the Bar because unless the foundation is strong, you cannot build a tower on that.".The event was attended by Administrative Judge of the Madhya Pradesh High Court, Justice Rohit Arya; Member of the Governing Council of the Madhya Pradesh State Judicial Academy (MPSJA), Justice Anand Pathak, and other judges of the High Court.
