Sathankulam Custodial Deaths: Supreme Court declines bail to accused Tamil Nadu cops

The Bench of Justices Vineet Saran and Dinesh Maheshwari while declining to grant bail observed that relief "cannot be granted at this stage."

The Supreme Court on Tuesday declined to grant bail to two police officers, P Raghu Ganesh and S Sridhar, accused in the Sathankulam custodial death case in which one P Jayaraj and his son, J Bennicks were killed.
