Rights of secured creditors under SARFAESI, Recovery of Debts Act take precedence over statutory tax dues: Madras High Court

The High Court held that Section 26E of the SARFAESI Act and Section 31B of the Recovery of Debts and Bankruptcy Act, will prevail over Section 281 of the Income Tax Act in the event of a conflict of priorities.
