PIL in Madras High Court against "false promises" by DMK-led Tamil Nadu Govt on NEET

The petitioner has sought directions for the government to pay a compensation of Rs 1 crore for families of students who have died by suicide recently which the petitioner attributes to false promises made on NEET.

A public interest litigation (PIL) petition has been moved in the Madras High Court seeking compensation for students adversely affected by the false promises made by the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) led State government regarding the cancellation of the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) in Tamil Nadu.
