PIL against “illegal” hospitalization of HDIL director: Bombay High Court orders pre-hearing deposit of ₹1 lakh

Counsel for the petitioner claimed that the Wadhawans were enjoying the entire 10th floor of a private hospital to themselves, while other citizens were suffering for lack of place.

The Bombay High Court on Tuesday asked a petitioner to deposit ₹1 lakh as a pre-condition for hearing  the plea challenging the alleged “erroneous” admission of Rakesh Wadhawan, director of Housing Development and Infrastructure Limited (HDIL), to a private hospital in Mumbai.
