The National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC) on Thursday issued a notice stating that it will start hearing matters physically from November 15, 2021.."It is notified for information of all the concerned that the Benches of the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission shall hear the cases listed before them, from 15th November, 2021 onwards, through physical court hearing only", stated the notification.All other modes of hearing cases i.e. virtual courts and hybrid hearing, will be dispensed with entirely, the notification added..The NCDRC had begun hearing matters virtually from June 15, 2020, on account of the COVID-19 pandemic. Earlier this year, in April, it was forced to suspend physical and hybrid hearing of cases on account of a surge in COVID-19 cases. .In view of the latest notification, the Commission is now slated to revert back to physical hearings alone from mid-November. .[Read Notification]
