The hearing before the Madras High Court in the contempt plea moved by the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) over the delay in implementing Other Backward Classes (OBC) reservations for All India Quota (AIQ) seats of medical colleges in Tamil Nadu during 2021-22 took an interesting turn on Tuesday, when the Central government informed that it is proposing to implement only 27% OBC reservation.
