Not duty of constitutional court to see whether citizens are indulging in public urination, spitting or littering: Delhi High Court

The Court, therefore, dismissed a PIL which sought to affix photographs of gods and goddesses on walls to prevent public urination, spitting and littering.

The Delhi High Court on Monday observed that it is not the duty of a constitutional court to regulate and monitor the movement of each citizen and see whether they are indulging in public urination, spitting and littering [Gorang Gupta v Government of NCT of Delhi & Ors].
