Will Mosques refrain from using Loudspeakers till they get consent under Noise Pollution Rules? Karnataka High Court asks 16 Mosques to respond

The Court has asked for an affidavit on whether the mosques "will not use loud speaker without obtaining a written permission in accordance with Rule 5 of the Noise Pollution (Regulation and Control) Rules, 2000.”

The Karnataka High Court recently sought an affidavit from sixteen mosques on whether they would refrain from using loudspeakers or public address systems until they obtain written permission in accordance with the Noise Pollution (Regulation and Control) Rules, 2000.
