No seniors to make mentioning: CJI NV Ramana asks senior counsel to send juniors, AoRs

Earlier on in his tenure, CJI Ramana had revealed that the reason for having a mentioning officer at the top court was to ensure that senior counsel do not get priority when it came to mentioning.

Chief Justice of India (CJI) NV Ramana on Wednesday discouraged the practice of senior counsel making mentionings before him, and asked them to send their Advocates-on-Record or junior colleagues to do the same henceforth.
