National Investigation Agency (NIA) has filed its chargesheet against suspended Jammu and Kashmir DSP Davinder Singh and five others in the Hizb-ul-Mujahideen terror case..NIA has filed the chargesheet before NIA Special Court, Jammu under Sections 120B, 121, 121A & 122 IPC, Sections 17, 18, 18B, 19, 20, 23, 38, 39 & 40 of Unlawful Assembly Prevention Act and Section 25(1)(a) & Section 35 of the Arms Act and Sections 4 and 5 of the Explosives Substances Act. .Other individuals named in the chargesheet are Hizb-ul-Mujahideen terrorists, Syed Naveed Mushtaq and Rafi Ahmad, Advocate Irhan Mir, Tanveer Ahmad Wani and Syed Irfan Ahmad. .Davinder Singh was arrested earlier this year while ferrying the two Hizb-ul-Mujahideen terrorists in a vehicle on the Srinagar-Jammu Highway. .During the course of the probe, NIA investigated the conspiracy to extend support to the banned terrorist organization Hizb-ul-Mujahideen by way of raising funds, supplying arms, harbouring militants etc. .NIA has now concluded that all six accused were part of a "deep-rooted" conspiracy to commit violent acts and to wage a war agaisnt the Union of India. .NIA has also claimed that the conspiracy was hatched by Hizb-ul Mujahideen and Pakistani State agencies and even certain officials from the Pakistan High Commission facilitated it. .Davinder Singh was also in touch with certain officials of Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi through secure social media platforms. Investigation revealed that he was being groomed by Pakistani officials for obtaining sensitive information..
