The Delhi High Court is set to function with a new Judges Roster with effect from March 11, 2020..The present strength of the Delhi High Court is 34 judges as opposed to the sanctioned strength of 45 permanent Judges and 15 Additional Judges..Division Bench II, III, IV, V, VI and VII will now be headed by Justices Hima Kohli, Vipin Sanghi, Siddharth Mridul, Manmohan, Rajiv Sahai Endlaw and JR Midha, respectively. .The Commercial Division of the High Court shall consist of six benches of a Single Judge each, presided by Justices Rajiv Shakdher, Mukta Gupta, V Kameswar Rao, Rekha Palli, Jyoti Singh and Prateek Jalan. .Justice Shakdher will be the Judge in-charge of the Commercial Division. .A Single Judge Bench of Justices Suresh Kumar Kait, Vibhu Bakhru, Anu Malhotra, Yogesh Khanna, Manoj Kumar Ohri and Brijesh Sethi will hear criminal matters. .Matters under the civil jurisdiction shall be adjudicated by a Single Judge Bench of Justices Jayant Nath, Najmi Waziri, Sanjeev Sachdeva, AK Chawla, Prathiba M Singh, Naveen Chawla and Anup J Bhambhani..The Roster Notice clarifies that all fresh PILs shall be listed before the Bench presided over by the Chief Justice and PILs matters upto 2018 will be taken up by the Bench from 2:15 PM onwards.
