The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for post graduate candidates which was scheduled to be held on April 18, has been postponed by the Central government. .The Medical Education Division of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare wrote to the Executive Director of National Board of Examination (NBE) conveying the government's decision to postpone the examination. .The new date of examination will be announced after reviewing the situation, the letter said. The NBE had issued a notification on April 9 fixing the exam for April 18.A petition was also moved against the same before the Supreme Court and is scheduled to be heard tomorrow.
