A Mumbai court on Wednesday granted bail to actor and producer Kamaal R Khan who was booked in a for posting inappropriate tweets about film actors, late Rishi Kapoor and Irrfan Khan..Khan was granted bail by a Borivali Magistrate in the case filed against him in 2020. Khan was detained by the Police on August 30 after he landed in Mumbai. He was then placed under arrest after interrogation.The complaint against him was filed by Yuva Sena leader Rahul Kanal, who said that Khan was trying to garner publicity at the expense of others. Kanal also alleged that the tweets by Khan "spread hatred".In his 2020 tweet, Khan had implored Rishi Kapoor not to 'die,' as wine shops were due to open following the COVID-19 pandemic. In another tweet, he had stated that the Coronavirus cannot be eradicated without the deaths of renowned people.“Just on a serious note, I said few days ago that #Corona can’t go back without taking few famous people. I didn’t write names that time because people could have abused me. But I knew that Irfan and Rishi will go. And I know, who is the next one also,” the tweet said..Khan was taken in custody on September 3 for allegedly molesting an actor back in January 2019. He was granted bail in that case on Tuesday. As on today, Khan is free to walk out of prison.
