Madras High Court directs YouTube to deposit revenue earned by Savukku Shankar through ‘defamatory’ videos

The Court said that YouTubers did not have a license to tarnish the reputation of others and restrained Savukku Shankar from making any further unverified allegations against Lyca Productions.

The Madras High Court on Tuesday directed YouTube to deposit in court the entire revenue earned by Savukku Shankar through his videos accusing media company Lyca Productions of smuggling of contraband substances.
