Madras High Court seeks State's response to plea raising public safety concerns around TASMAC bars

The Madras High Court on Tuesday issued notice to the Tamil Nadu Prohibition and Excise Department and the Tamil Nadu State Marketing Corporation (TASMAC) in a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) seeking uniform guidelines for consumption of liquor after closing hours of TASMAC shops and bars in the State.
