Considering the the sensitiveness of the issue involved, this Court wants to hear the parties in camera," the Court said..It proceeded to post the matter for an in-chamber hearing later this month..The Court was told that the couple's (petitioners') fathers had opposed their same-sex relationship, owing to which two 'girl missing' FIRs were filed. .The petitioners contended that there was a potential threat to their lives, that they were being harassed by the police and that they were being made to run from pillar to post for their safety and security. The Court was urged to direct the police to not harass the petitioners and also to ensure that there is no danger to the them from their parents. The Government Advocate who took notice for the police on Monday, in turn, assured the Court that the police would be instructed on this aspect and that the safety and security of the petitioners will be ensured. .After taking this assurance on record, the Court has now posted the matter for an in-chamber hearing on May 29.
