Madras High Court refuses to restrain ASG SV Raju from representing former minister SP Velumani in corruption case

As long as ASG Raju had the Union government's permission to represent Velumani, it could not restrain him from appearing in the matter, the Court said.

The Madras High Court on Wednesday refused to restrain Additional Solicitor General (ASG) SV Raju from representing former AIADMK Minister SP Velumani in a corruption case even as the Tamil Nadu government raised strong objection to the same.
