Madras High Court asks State to discontinue practice of printing photos of Chief Ministers on textbooks, schoolbags

The State government informed the Court that Chief Minster MK Stalin has already issued a statement that the government will not be using Chief Minister's photos on school bags, textbooks and stationery in future.

The Madras High Court on Tuesday called on the State to ensure that the practice of carrying photographs of Chief Ministers or other public functionaries on school bags, textbooks and stationery is discontinued (Oveyam Ranjan v. The State of Tamil Nadu and ors).
