Lower courts free to proceed further with virtual hearing even if advocate/litigant is not present: Delhi High Court
Earlier this year, High Court had directed that no adverse order shall be passed in non-urgent/routine matters where the concerned advocate/litigant is unable to join the virtual proceedings.
If an advocate or litigant stays away from virtual proceedings after being intimated about the same, the lower courts are now free to proceed further with the matter, depending on the urgency and other attending circumstances.
