Delhi Lieutenant Governor confers detaining powers to Delhi police commissioner under National Security Act

In a notification issued on July 19, 2021, Delhi Lieutenant Governor (LG) Anil Baijal extended powers under the National Security Act (NSA) to Delhi police commissioner designating him as a “detaining authority”.
