"Unprofessional:" Karnataka High Court wants action against lawyers body for restricting its members from representing sedition accused
Nalini Balakumar was charged with sedition last year for holding a 'Free Kashmir' placard during anti-CAA protests held at the Mysore University.
A lawyers' body issuing resolution restricting its members from representing a woman accused of sedition is "unprofessional", the Karnataka High Court observed on Tuesday questioning the Karnataka State Bar Council (KSBC) for not taking action against the lawyers' body.
