Justice M Duraiswamy to be acting Chief Justice of Madras High Court; Justice Munishwar Nath Bhandari to take over from Duraiswamy J.

The appointment came after current Chief Justice Sanjib Banerjee was transferred to Meghalaya High Court.

The Central government on Wednesday notified that Madras High Court judge Justice M Duraiswamy will take over as the acting Chief Justice of Madras High Court. The appointment will be effective from Wednesday.
