A Delhi court on Tuesday sent Russian national Mikhail Shargin to two days Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) remand in connection with hacking and cheating allegations surrounding Joint Entrance Examination (JEE)..Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (ACMM) Vaibhav Mehta of the Rouse Avenue Court also directed Shargin to cooperate with the Investigating Officer and provide his username and password so that he can be confronted with the data present on his phone and laptop.The Court allowed Shargin to have his lawyer with him when he is confronted with the data..The CBI had demanded five days' police custody..Shargin was arrested by the CBI on Monday at the Delhi airport when he was travelling from Kazakhstan..Shargin is accused of hacking the JEE exams system in a way which gave remote access to teachers and coaches who gave exams instead of students.
