[Goa Mining] Supreme Court slams Goa govt, Vedanta for filing delayed review petitions after retirement of judges who delivered judgment

The Court noted that while Goa govt preferred its review petitions after the retirement of Madan Lokur J. who authored the judgment, Vedanta filed its review after Deepak Gupta J., the second judge on the Bench, retired.

The Supreme Court has come down on the State of Goa and mining giant Vedanta for filing delayed review petitions after the judges who decided the mining lease case and delivered the judgment in the same in 2018, retired from office (Vedanta v. Goa Foundation).
