Fleet will shrink to 19 planes if order to ground 3 engines is implemented: SpiceJet to Delhi High Court

In an order passed on August 14, Justice Manmeet Pritam Singh Arora had ordered SpiceJet to ground three engines leased from two French lessors after the airline defaulted on rental lease payments.

Budget airlines SpiceJet told the Delhi High Court on Friday that its fleet of 21 aircraft will come down to 19 if the High Court order of August 14 to ground three aircraft engines is implemented.
