After a fake notice claiming inititaion of an inquiry by the Delhi High Court into "liberal" grant of bail by sessions courts was circulated on social media, the Delhi Police has been asked by the High Court to look into the incident. .The Cyber Cell of the Delhi Police has been asked to examine the matter by the High Court. Meanwhile, all judicial officers have also been informed that the notice in question is fake, a person close to the development told Bar & Bench. .The fake "internal notice", which claimed "urgent compliance" said that the High Court had observed that higher judicial officers in many districts were adopting liberal approach in granting/ disposing bail applications "in non-compliance with law and facts..It further said that a supervisory team comprising retired judges was being deputed by the High Court for examining each and every order granting such bails. .The fake notice added that immediate action would be taken if the order "senses biasness (sic) and corruptness".
