Court is duty bound to ensure a person’s right to life and health is not violated, including those accused of crimes, the Delhi High Court has highlighted while allowing Sameer Mahendru, to undergo a medical procedure at a private hospital (Sameer Mahendru v. ED].   

Mahendru is an accused in the Delhi liquor policy case under probe of the Enforcement Directorate (ED).
